New Shanghai Lugano: opening hours, tables, parking

1. When is New Shanghai open?

   New Shanghai is open Tuesday to Friday 11–14 and 18–22, and on Saturday and Sunday for dinner only, 18–22. It is closed on Mondays.

2. How do I book a table?

   Use the ‘Book’ form on the site, giving the day, the time and how many of you are coming: the table is yours once the restaurant confirms. Or call 091 923 27 26.

3. Where can I park, and what’s the nearest bus stop?

   The Campo Marzio car park is a short walk away; the bus stops at ‘Lugano, Palazzo Studi’, right by the door. From Piazza della Riforma, 9 minutes on foot.

4. Can we come as a group of ten?

   For ten people there is the round table, with a revolving tray in the middle. A larger group or an event is booked through the same ‘Book’ form: choose ‘More than 20’ or ‘An event’.

5. Can I pay by card?

   New Shanghai accepts credit cards.

6. Can I order takeaway or delivery?

   Order takeaway by phone on 091 923 27 26; for delivery, order through Uber Eats and smood.

7. Are there vegetarian dishes?

   There are vegetarian dishes on the menu too: ask which ones when you book.

8. Is it wheelchair accessible?

   The restaurant’s entrance, the tables and the toilet are wheelchair accessible.
